Hyundai is set to make debut of the upcoming Creta Facelift in 2022 at Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto show(GIIAS). Hyundai Motors Indonesia has released the teaser of the Creta facelift. The Creta facelift will get new front look. The front end will be inspired from the expensive SUV Tucson.
The car will get new bumper, grille and new headlight setup upfront. Like the Tucson the headlights will be placed lower down in vertical arrangement and new Parametric Jewel grille with well integrated DRLs.
No other changes to the exterior, rest all will be similar to the on sale Creta. Coming to the interiors, Creta Facelift will get new 10.25inch Digital instrument cluster similar to Alcazar. Hyundai may add some more features to it. There are reports that Hyundai will add ADAS to Creta facelift, as competitors like Astor and XUV 700 which are priced in this price range get ADAS. All details and features will be revealed at GIIAS 2022.
Features like a panaromic sunroof, Bose audio system, 10inch infotainment system, LED headlights, Bluelink connected car technology, ventilated seats and much more.
Hyundai will launch the Creta Facelift in India too. In mid 2022 Creta Facelift will arrive to India. On sale Creta are selling in good numbers and Hyundai is getting bookings in huge numbers resulting in more waiting period. Have to see if Facelifted model will continue those sales numbers or not. The on sale Creta took time for people to make the design grow on them, the polarizing design is hit or miss among customers.
Engine options for Indian Creta Facelift:
The facelifted model will get the same engine options as on sale Creta, 1.5L Diesel engine(115bhp & 250Nm), 1.5L Naturally aspirated petrol engine(115bhp & 144Nm) and 1.4L Turbo petrol engine(140bhp & 242Nm). It is very less chances of Hyundai introducing 2.0L Naturally aspirated engine which does duty in Alcazar, Tucson and Elantra.
Expected pricing of Creta Facelift:
The current Creta starts from Rs.10.16 Lakhs to Rs.17.18 Lakhs (ex-showroom prices), it is expected that the facelifted model will be priced Rs 40,000 to Rs.50,000 extra over the current model.
