Hyundai Tucson 2022 spotted in India without camouflage before the launch

Hyundai had launched the 4th gen Tucson back in 2020, they delayed the launch further for India because they had launched 3rd gen Tucson facelift. Now then Hyundai has planned to launch it finally in India. Today 4th gen Tucson was spotted undisguisedly and thanks to MotorBeam for the pictures. The picture shows that the Hyundai is sipping Tucson to its dealers. 

Hyundai Tucson had got totally aggressive look over the 3rd gen. The car now looks sharper and lot of cuts and creases make it look aggressive. It had got new front and rear end design and why not? its a new generation. Overall the car get refreshed look over the 2016 model. We will talk about it more after the launch. 

Hyundai is planning to launch it next year i.e. in 2022 and looks like Hyundai may launch it in Jan '22 as they are shipping the cars to the dealers. The car will be similar to the global unit and the features, design will be carried to Indian model as well. 

Engine Options:

Globally Tucson gets petrol, diesel and hybrid setup. We expect Hyundai will carry forward the same engines for the Indian model. There are chances that Hyundai will also bring Hybrid powertrain option. 4WD version will also make it way to India as expected. 

Price and Rivals:

The 3rd gen Tucson facelift is still on sale and is selling from Rs 22.69 Lakhs-Rs 27.47 Lakhs (ex showroom) and the new model will ask more because it gets more features and new design. We expect that 4th gen Tucson to start at Rs 24 or 25 lakhs. Lets wait for the official launch. 

The Tucson rivals the the Jeep Compass, Tata Safari, Citroen C5 Air cross and other cars in this segment.
